Residents train across a complementary network of inpatient hospital sites and outpatient-based interventional laboratories (OBLs), providing exposure to the full spectrum of modern IR practice across acute care, consultation, longitudinal follow-up, and office-based procedural settings.

Baptist Memorial Hospital–Memphis

Memphis, Tennessee

Baptist Memorial Hospital–Memphis is the flagship hospital of Baptist Memorial Health Care, a 706-bed hospital on an 80-acre medical campus and a major referral center for patients across the Mid-South. The hospital serves as the primary tertiary-care inpatient training site for the residency, and gives residents exposure to complex disease, advanced imaging, inpatient consultation, urgent procedures, and multidisciplinary care. 
This site is central to developing strong diagnostic judgment and the ability to manage complex hospitalized patients safely and effectively.

Baptist Memorial Hospital–DeSoto

Southaven, Mississippi

Baptist Memorial Hospital–DeSoto is a 339-bed acute care hospital located in Southaven, Mississippi, and is a key community hospital training site that complements the tertiary referral experience at Baptist Memphis. Residents gain exposure to a broad regional and rural patient population while developing experience in general inpatient interventional radiology, including consultation, peri-procedural decision making, and common inpatient procedures. This site strengthens clinical versatility, procedural efficiency, and the ability to deliver thoughtful IR care across diverse hospital practice settings.

NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital

Jonesboro, Arkansas

NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital is a six-story, 228-bed full-service hospital that extends resident training into a regional referral environment in Northeast Arkansas. The NEA campus serves a wide surrounding catchment area and adds experience with patients referred from a broader geographic region, developing adaptability in consultation and procedural planning.  This site expands clinical range, strengthens comfort across varied referral patterns, and preparing residents to practice thoughtfully across diverse inpatient environments.
