Program Overview
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Memphis is to train clinically grounded, technically excellent, and diagnostically strong IR/DR physicians through rigorous imaging education, progressive interventional training, and longitudinal patient-centred care across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency practice settings.
Program Aims:

Provide residents with a strong diagnostic radiology foundation through broad exposure to complex inpatient and outpatient imaging.

Develop technical skill and sound procedural judgment across the spectrum of contemporary interventional radiology.

Train residents in the clinical practice of IR, including consultation, longitudinal care, periprocedural management, and follow-up to mirror global trends in IR practice.

Promote progressive responsibility, professionalism, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Prepare graduates for safe, independent, and adaptable IR/DR practice in diverse clinical environments.
